Hospital Doctor + Degree-Qualified Engineer
Founder, Common Bond
Common Bond was built by someone who identified an unmet need while rotating through the hospital system as a junior medical officer, and set out to give workforce teams a better way to manage rotation allocation.
Why This Problem
Medical rotation allocation is one of the most consequential workforce decisions a health service makes. It shapes clinical exposure, training quality, AMC compliance, and a health service's ability to attract and retain its junior workforce.
Most health services still manage this with spreadsheets. The result is weeks of manual work, compliance risk, and allocation decisions that are hard to defend or reproduce. Common Bond changes that.
The Receipt of Fairness
Every allocation should come with proof that the process was fair: that each preference was genuinely weighed, not just collected. That gives workforce teams a clear, defensible record of how each decision was made.
This is the "Receipt of Fairness", the founding principle of Common Bond. Allocation fairness is not a feature; it is the standard every health service should be able to provide.
